Andrew's Parks and Playground, is searching for Fishing Camp Counselors for our summer Fishing Camp program.
The ideal teammate is passionate about empowering others and is excited to be part of a team that has enriched lives through parks, recreation, and wellness for over 75 years! This is a great position for fun individuals who love fishing and sharing that knowledge and fun experience with children 8 - 13 years of age.
This is a seasonal position that runs during the summer break.
Fishing Camp Counselors will start their day at the gymnasium at 1095 Playground Road prior to transporting the participants to the fishing location for the day, then back to the gymnasium at the end of a fun day of fishing.
Participants and counselors will need to bring a sack lunch each day as lunch will be picnic style at the fishing site.
Summer Fishing Camps will run Monday through Friday from June 10, 2024 to August 2, 2024.
Paid pre-camp evening training sessions to be determined, however, training is tentatively scheduled during the last week of May or the first week of June.
Attendance at pre-camp evening training sessions is mandatory, however, exceptions may be made on a case by case basis with approval from the Program Director.
