Full Time Infant Assistant

*Full Time Infant Assistant* Oakbrook Child Development Center is hiring a full time Infant Assistant.
This position is 40 hours weekly, from 9:00 – 6:00 daily.

Responsibilities: * Work closely with teaching team in all aspects of planning and implementing daily activities * Engage children throughout the day in addition to incorporating play activities * Maintain classroom routines and schedules * Supervise children at all times during play and sleep * Ensure play, sleep and changing areas are kept clean * Communicate effectively with parents and co-workers * Assume responsibility for a classroom at any given time * Provide coverage for breaks for other staff members * Clean, straighten and prepare classroom for the next day Qualifications: * High school diploma or equivalent is required.
* Previous experience working with infants is highly desirable * Patience, creativity, and a genuine passion for working with young children.
