Position Description
Responsible of planning and coordinating the daily operation of (6) one-week Summer Day Camp sessions
Organize and take children on field trips utilizing the 12-passenger van
Coordinate activities for crafts, outdoor sports, indoor games, and snacks
Make daily assignments for summer support staff members
Coordinate arrival and departure of campers
Prepare reports, send letters, account for payments by campers, invoices for payment from field trips
Position Requirements
The qualified candidate must have:
good people and public speaking skills
experience in a summer camp setting, interest in history and natural history is a plus
In addition the candidate must:
be at least 18 years old by June 2024
enrolled full time in college/technical school
must have a valid driver's license
successfully undergo pre-employment physical and drug screen
This position is for a Summer Internship located slightly west of Charleston in the city of Moncks Corner, South Carolina.
Candidate will work 40 hours per week.
