Position Classification: Part-time; M-F (between the hours of 2:30pm -6:30pm); working 3-4 hours a day; $13hr.
General Function:
Assist in supervising activities and events at the campus.
Promote the safety of members, quality of programs, and appearance of the Campus at all times.
Knowledge, skills, and abilities:
•Ability to deal effectively with staff, youth, and parents.
•Demonstrate good written and verbal communication skills.
•Knowledge of appropriate ways of dealing and interacting with children.
Job Responsibilities:
•Demonstrate and promote Core Values.
•Assist staff with Curriculum implementation.
•Assist staff with supervising activities and events at the campus.
•Understand the Clubs' philosophy, vision, and goals.
•Assist in providing guidance, being a role model, and inspiring youth.
•Work with an array of individuals from diverse backgrounds.
•Other duties as assigned.
Education:
•High School Junior or Senior working towards High School diploma.
Physical and Mental Requirements:
Must be comfortable performing multi-faceted projects in conjunction with day-to-day activities.
Ability to get along with diverse personalities while at all times displaying tact, maturity, and flexibility.
Physical requirements include sight, hearing, standing for up to four hours per day, and the ability to implement programs.
Skills essential for success include speaking, writing, and knowledge of the computer.
Environment & Working Conditions:
After school/Recreational settings that include being in/outdoors.
Occasional weekend and evening work to support the organization's fundraising events and activities.
End Results:
Program participants will learn applicable skills that will help prepare them to be successful in life through fun engaging activities.
Continued employment will be evaluated periodically.
