Full-Time and Part-Time Positions Available
Shift timings : Morning: 7AM TO 3PM, Afternoon: 3PM-11PM, Night Audit: 11PM TO 7AM (next day).
A Guest Services Agent is responsible for greeting and registering guests and checking guests out of the hotel, answers and processes all phone calls received plus handles all special requests for services or information in accordance with standard policies and procedures to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability.
A brief description of duties, to perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily:
* Welcomes guests by greeting them; answering questions; responding to requests.
* Registers guests by obtaining or confirming room requirements; verifying preregistration; assigning room; obtaining information and signatures; issuing door cards.
* Verify customers' credit, and establish how the customer will pay for the accommodation.
Account for all cash and make deposits in accordance with hotel and company policies.
* Directs guests to room(s).
* Conveys information to guests by receiving and transmitting messages, mail, facsimiles, packages, etc.
* Provides information to guests by answering inquiries regarding hotel and other services guests may require, such as entertainment, shopping, business, and travel.
* Maintains records by entering room and guest account data.
* Collects revenue by entering services and charges; computing bill; obtaining payment.
* Makes hotel and other reservations by entering or telephoning requirements; checking availability; confirming requirements.
*Use up-selling techniques to promote hotel services and facilities and to maximize room occupancy.
*Field guest complaints, conduct research and resolve and negotiate solutions for guest satisfaction.
*Setup and maintain breakfast bar.
*Maintain Lobby & breakfast area.
*Inventory Control of items in front office/lobby.
* Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
* Contributes to help with any other assigned task(s).
Minimum Experience, Education, Skill & Physical Requirements: Customer Service, People Skills, Quality Focus, Professionalism, Energy Level, Multi-tasking, Dependability, Thoroughness, Phone Skills, Data Entry Skills, Listening.
Must be: at least 18 years of age, flexible in hours and days worked, able to work on the weekends, during holiday periods, able to follow written and verbal directions, capable of working in a fast-paced environment with multiple interruptions, able to spend the majority of the day walking, standing, typing, and talking.
MUST HAVE PREVIOUS HOTEL OR CUSTOMER SERVICE EXPERIENCE
