I'm selling my mint condition 65 inch Samsung KS9800 4K QLED HDTV ahead of moving houses later this year.
I bought this in 2018 for around $5000 after taxes ($4499 MSRP), it is the highest end 65" Samsung TV made with incredibly vibrant HDR colors in a beautiful curved display that looks elegant anywhere you put it.
I'm moving cities (to Florida) and will be living in a small apartment so I'm trying to keep what I'm taking to a minimum which means I'm unfortunately going to part ways this TV.
Thankfully I have the box making the TV easy to transport in any SUV with the seats down (it weighs about 60-70lb and and box dimensions are 63x37x9 inches).
The video and pictures don't do it justice to what it looks like when setup in a living room and the real magic with this TV is how it performs in rooms with natural light given how bright the QLED display gets with the Quantum Dot Full Array Local Dimming HDR 240hz screen.
LG OLED TVs don't compare if you're shopping for a TV to be put in a bright room that has windows which is why I originally bought this TV.
One thing most people don't realize is that TVs operate in price bands: $500-1500 (generic TVs that get you the resolution and size), $2000-3500 (gets you better quality IPS panels, better HDR performance but not full array local dimming, fast refresh rates for gaming on Xbox or PS5) and then $4000 and up TVs (highest end brightness and contrast, local dimming for true blacks, quantum processing / upscaling, VA panels).
You typically don't get the features of the $4000+ TVs in the lower bands (and why they are so much more expensive), and this TV is comparable in technology to Samsung QN 9 series TVs
today like the QN90 or QN900 (and much better than the QN80 / QN85 / QN800).
If you know what you're looking for in high-end TVs, you'll know why this was originally so much money and still worth it today versus existing Samsung and LG OLED TVs.
The model is UN65KS9800 and I have it packed up in the box, which comes with the stand, two remotes (extra replacement remote that isn't used yet), the One Connect box and all the cables + manuals.
This is local / cash only, I have an SUV and can potentially help transport the TV depending on distance.
I'm also selling my Bose SoundTouch 520 home theater system and a brand new unopened Apple TV 4K if interested in the best surround sound system to pair with this.
