5 HP 71 GPM Cast Iron Sprinkler/Irrigation Pump with Thermoplastic Impeller, Red 115V/230V AC I purchased this pump for my irrigation system.

but I didn't know the difference between a Shallow Well Pump and a Jet Pump.
Apparently the max depth for this pump to water is 25 feet vertical.
My well water is somewhere around 50 feet so it would not work.
The pump has been installed (for 2 days), but never used.
It's new, but I can't return it.
I paid $450 for the pump but will sell it for $150 firm.
