Bresse are a French meat bird that claims to be “the best tasting chicken in the world”.
Unlike other chickens, they were bred to marble their meat like a steak instead of deposing all of their fat on the outside.
However, they’ll live a long healthy life if chosen as a pet or ornamental addition to the farm.
Overall, they are a great, healthy and humane way to add meat quality to backyard flocks.
