We are seeking a highly motivated (a hunter) and results-driven Business Developer to join our Commercial Landscape Maintenance team.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building client relationships, and driving revenue growth.
You would be tasked with growing our client base by getting in front of new commercial landscape maintenance clients and building relationships to close sales.
This person must be a go getter and must be willing to go business to business to ensure no door is left unopened.
Key Responsibilities: * Identify and research potential clients to pitch and sell our commercial landscape maintenance services.
* Be able to hunt for new clients daily by using new approaches and innovative solutions.
* Develop and maintain relationships with key decision makers.
* Understand client needs and be able to tailor a solution to address them.
* Collaborate with the owner to develop strategies for business expansion.
* Create and deliver compelling presentations and proposals to prospective clients.
* Negotiate contracts and close deals to meet revenue target goals and KPIs.
* Stay updated on industry trends and market developments.
* Attend bid meetings and be able to bid on government work.
Qualifications: * Must have an insurable and valid driver’s license.
* Proven track record of success in business development and sales of 1 million or more per year.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Excellent negotiation and presentation skills.
* Knowledge of Commercial Landscape Maintenance trends and market dynamics.
* Results-oriented with a focus on achieving sales targets.
* Experience with CRM software and sales analytics tools.
* Must be able to use a computer and create a professional email/ correspondence.
* Must be able to close sales.
